Primrose Hill Hospital history

about us history

Primrose Hill Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1994 in Dublin by Mike and Deirdre Woods.

Mike is the Principal Veterinary Surgeon; he holds a certificate in veterinary ophthalmology and offers a referral ophthalmology service nationwide.

Mike began his veterinary career in 1984 in the west of Ireland.

He later moved to the UK working mainly in the west of England, during this time he studied for his certificate in veterinary ophthalmology.

In 1994 Mike and Deirdre returned to Ireland and set up Primrose Hill Veterinary Hospital.

The practice was on Tivoli Road for 25 years and moved to its new premises in Church Place Sallynoggin in June 2019.

The move has provided us with much needed space for both our patients and staff.
